The struggle of travelling by air includes guessing how much your suitcase weighs, distributing shopped items between the group, and making sure you check-in on time, preferably online. Whatever the hustle and bustle is, one Australian man decided that he would much rather check-in some precious cargo, than carry it on the plane.
A can of beer.
He managed, somehow to successfully check-in a can of beef as his luggage on a domestic flight down under. It was initially a joke, and the jokester and his friend were both surprised that they managed to do it.
After a 4 hour journey from Perth to Melbourne, the can arrived unopened and first on the carousel at the airport.
Though Qantas did allow the joke to play out, they are discouraging other potential passengers from trying the same.
“This guy’s done it and he’s won the internet for the day, so we’re happy to move on,” a spokesman said in a statement to the BBC.
Cheers to that
